Have you change the com port from "COM1 to COM5" in the software?
We suggest using USB-RS232 converter, instead of serial card, if your computer does not have com port.
the serial card may be obsoleted or/and not fully supported all the serial functions.
The USB-RS232 convert cable can be buy locally or you can buy from our website.

The serial card you have may not support all the functions of serial communication and then this means that the serial card does not work with AK5, you have to use the USB-RS232 convert cable.

The Serial card is related to the main board of PC, and also depend on the serial driver and PC main board driver. Most of serial card use PCI bug to communicate with your PC
The serial card is also very expensive.

Is it possible to try another PC?
You can send the coin acceptor back to us, we will check for you and repair or replace it if it has problem.
